Filipino director Benito Bautista was greeted by an enthusiastic audience at GIFF for the Pacific Asia premiere of his award-winning film, “Boundary”, featuring notable Philippines actor Ronnie Lazaro.
After the screening, Benito engaged the GIFF audience members with an elaborate Q&A session about the film’s production, casting, soundtrack, actors and more.
Bautista won the crowd over with his persona and charm while reminding the audience about the value of a good story, which in his case was inspired by the taxi drivers of metro Manila. After GIFF Bautista is off to the Busan International Film Festival to promote his documentary film, Harana.
“Boundary” is also co-produced by Emma Francisco and Voyage Studios (Chuck Gutierrez and Baby Ruth Villarama were also in attendance).
Travel for guests of the Guam International Film Festival was made possible by official sponsors United Airlines and Cars Plus.
