Synopsis
Risking unavoidable attention from their small island community, Daren sacrifices his senior prom night to hang out with his classmate Jeannie, who harbors a secret.
Douglas Haban (Writer/Director)
Born on O‘ahu and raised on the small island of Lāna‘i, Director Douglas Haban is a local Hawai‘i Filmmaker. He attended The University of Hawai‘i Academy for Creative Media where he created many short films as a director and as a sound engineer. Since graduating college in early Spring 2021, Douglas has worked on a few projects recording sound and dialogue a sound engineer. He also occasionally works as a background actor for local tv productions, using the opportunity to learn on a professional set and make connection with other local industry workers. After graduating Douglas has directed his first independent short film in the summer of 2021 titled, Kauna‘oa.
